wet felt and needle felt

Wet felt: a soft looking wool covered with scales that we can't see with the naked eye. When exposed to hot water, these scales open and stand up. If it is squeezed, rubbed and rubbed by external forces, the scales will be entangled with each other and tightly contracted together to become felted state.

Needle felt: using a special kind of wool needle to stab the wool continuously will also make the scales on the wool tangle with each other to achieve felting effect. We call this method "needle felt".
